Terms of Service for In-Store Repairs & Purchases

Our Limited Warranty

iRepairIT LLC (“IREPAIRIT”) warrants majority of our repairs and parts free of defects in materials and workmanships. All phone and tablet screen replacements in which our part was used will come with a lifetime warranty excluding standard quality iPhone screens which come with a 30 day warranty. All laptop, MacBook, and computer screen replacements come with a 1 year warranty if our part is used. All other repairs will come with a 90 day warranty covering the functionality of the component. If the unit should malfunction, it must be returned to IREPAIRIT store for evaluation and all costs of shipping (if applicable) shall be borne solely by the customer. IREPAIRIT will diagnose the device as soon as possible upon receipt. Upon examination by IREPAIRIT, if the unit is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. IREPAIRIT’s warranty, however, does not apply to defects resulting from any action of the customer, including but not limited to mishandling, physical damage, water damage, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, repair by someone other than IREPAIRIT, use of any other product other than IREPAIRIT products, or unauthorized modification. This warranty is VOID if the unit shows evidence of any misuse or mishandling, including but not limited to being tampered with (broken seal), being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or vibration; improper specification; misapplication; abuse or other operating conditions outside of IREPAIRIT’s control. Software warranty applies to factory restores, backups, jailbreaks, unlocks, performed by IREPAIRIT, and applies to computers, laptops, cellular phones, etc. Warranty is VOID, however, if customer performs any software modifications not limited to restore, updating software on the device, downloading unauthorized or unapproved software, viruses, malware, spyware, or attempts to modify any software that has been installed by IREPAIRIT. IREPAIRIT reserves the right to VOID any warranty if any improper software installations or modifications have been made after customer has left the store location. This warranty is non-transferable (for example this warranty does not apply to any purchaser who bought the product from a customer of IREPAIRIT, or a reseller or distributor not authorized by IREPAIRIT, including but not limited to purchases from internet auction sites). IREPAIRIT has the right to deny warranty claim if deemed necessary by IREPAIRIT or by the supplier 0r manufacturer of the part in question.

IREPAIRIT does not offer any type of warranty for customers that provide their own part. If a customer part malfunctions or device shorts out because of the part being replaced, IREPAIRIT claims no liability.

IREPAIRIT cannot be held liable for the functionality of a component other than the one being replaced by IREPAIRIT. If another component malfunctions, IREPAIRIT will diagnose it.

IREPAIRIT’s unlimited tempered glass (formerly known as lifetime tempered glass) only covers replacements of the tempered glass screen protects for the device that it was purchased and registered for. Any damage that is caused to the device is not covered by the warranty and IREPAIRIT claims no liability. The unlimited warranty for the tempered glass cannot be transferred to another device. IREPAIRIT requires the customer to bring back the tempered glass in exchange for a new one. Failure to do so gives IREPAIRIT the right to deny the replacement. IREPAIRIT has the right to deny a customer of a replacement if IREPAIRIT deems it is not necessary, such as having no damage.

Cancellation Fees

IREPAIRIT has the right to charge a cancellation fee of a minimum of $50 when they deem necessary. This includes the following, however it is not limited to the following examples:

  • IREPAIRIT diagnoses their device and comes to the conclusion that the device is fixable, but the customer declines to fix it.
  • Customer comes with a device that is not turning on, and IREPAIRIT is able to get it on and functions enough to operate the phone with basic functions and/or retrieve data. Even if the device has some unfixable issues, if the phone was able to be turned on and majority of the functions work that are needed such as SIM service, phone calls, texting, and customer declines to fix it, a $50 cancellation fee will be required as payment.
  • IREPAIRIT is either in the process of doing a repair or completes a repair, and customer decides to cancel the repair
  • IREPAIRIT has already placed an order for replacement part and customer cancels repair, this could be subject to either $50 cancellation fee or 15% restocking fee, whichever is greater.


IREPAIRIT provides a two (2) week period to be eligible for a full refund for repairs, however this does not guarantee a full refund. IREPAIRIT provides ninety (90) days for a partial refund for repairs, however this does not guarantee a certain amount. IREPAIRIT has the right to deny a refund if necessary.

IREPAIRIT will remove the part being refunded and be in complete ownership of the part that the customer wants a refund for. IREPAIRIT will attempt to replace that part with customer’s original part, however IREPAIRIT cannot guarantee they will have possession of that part, and in this scenario, IREPAIRIT has the right to replace the part with another part in their possession under IREPAIRIT’s discretion. If no replacement part is available, IREPAIRIT has the right to give the device back with no part on there.

IREPAIRIT has the right to charge the customer a minimum restocking fee of 15% of the repair price depending on the condition of the part being returned. IREPAIRIT has a right to decline any refunds and returns for any type of damage to the part or the device the part is on.

IREPAIRIT has the right to deny the return of a deposit. IREPAIRIT charges deposits for certain repairs, and if the customer chooses to decline repair after the payment of the deposit, IREPAIRIT has the right to the procession of the deposit.

Device Purchases

Any devices purchased directly from IREPAIRIT is accompanied with the 90-day warranty stated above in the ‘Our Limited Warranty’ section, along with a seven (7) day return policy. IREPAIRIT has the right to deny any returns we deem unsatisfactory of our requirements, such as, but not limited to, tampered devices, damaged devices, jailbroken or rooted devices, etc. The customer will be subjected to a minimum of 15% restocking fee if there are no issues with the device.

Limitation of Liability


Repair Time and Delivery

IREPAIRIT will make reasonable efforts to deliver repaired equipment within the estimated time of delivery, but does not guarantee that a repair will be completed within a specific period of time. IREPAIRIT shall not be liable for any failures or delay in service due to any cause beyond its control, such as but not limited to weather delays, shipping delays, etc. IREPAIRIT reserves the right to refrain from providing the repairs or services ordered and instead refund customer’s payment, partial or full, at its sole discretion.

Recycling and Disposal of Customer’s Parts

IREPAIRIT claims the right to become sole owners of a customer’s old part in exchange of IREPAIRIT’s replacement part. If for any reason a customer wants to claim ownership of their old part, the customer must pay IREPAIRIT for that part in addition to the repair cost.

Manufacturer Warranties

You recognize that IREPAIRIT is an independent, third party repair company not affiliated with any original manufacturer or insurance company and that having your device repaired or worked on by IREPAIRIT may void any manufacturer warranty or ability to utilize insurance providers. IREPAIRIT is not responsible for any warranty that is considered void after repair services by IREPAIRIT have been rendered.

Replacement Parts

You recognize that IREPAIRIT is an independent, third party repair company not affiliated with any original manufacturer. Like any repair provider outside the original manufacturer, IREPAIRIT does not always have access to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts.

You recognize that after any service is performed, the damaged parts that are replaced during service become property of IREPAIRIT. Upon payment for any repair or service, you forfeit any claim on the damaged parts that were replaced during the repair or their value.

Responsibility to Pick Up Devices and Personal Belongings

Due to space limitations, IREPAIRIT requests that you pick up your devices and personal belongings promptly.

In the following paragraph, ‘equipment’ is referring to any and all objects that the customer leaves on our premises, such as, but not limited to, electronic devices, parts, personal belongings, etc.

If equipment is left or forgotten with IREPAIRIT and is not picked up within 30 days of IREPAIRIT servicing your device or of you leaving your equipment, IREPAIRIT will consider your equipment abandoned and may dispose of your equipment in accordance with applicable law. IREPAIRIT will attempt to contact you with the contact information given during check in. You agree to hold IREPAIRIT harmless for any damage or claim for the abandoned property, which we may discard or recycle at our sole discretion 30 days after receiving or servicing your equipment.

If IREPAIRIT still has your device after 30 days of drop off, you will be obligated to pay a storage fee for each day that it is in IREPAIRIT’s possession. The charge of the storage fee is $5 per day starting on the 31st day the device was left with us.


If service involves transferring information or installing software, customer represents that customer has the legal right to copy the information and agree to the terms of the software license, and customer authorizes IREPAIRIT to transfer the information and accept such terms on your behalf in performing the service at your instruction.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all content that you make available through the device. Accordingly, you represent and warrant that: (i) You either are the sole and exclusive owner of all content that you make available through the device or you have all rights, licenses, or permissions, consents, and releases that are necessary to grant to IREPAIRIT the rights in such content, as contemplated under this agreement; and (ii) neither the content nor your posting, uploading, publication, submission, or transmittal of the content or IREPAIRIT’s use of the content (or any portion thereof) on, through, or by means of the device or otherwise will infringe, misappropriate or violate any third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary or intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Payment for Service

Payment in full for repairs and services must be rendered prior to picking up a device. A non-refundable repair deposit may be required for parts that require a special order to be placed. Failure to pay for services allows IREPAIRIT to hold onto your personal property in question until payment has been received in full. If full payment has not been fulfilled within 30 days of IREPAIRIT receiving your personal property, IREPAIRIT will deem the personal property abandoned.

Liquid Damage Diagnostic and Board Cleaning Service

You understand that due to the nature of liquid damage, a device that may arrive in “working” or “partially working” condition with liquid damage present, may not work after the diagnostic is performed. Liquid causes corrosion and rust on many components which can result in reduced device functionality after disassembly and re-assembly.

You understand that if a device is operable upon arrival it is recommended that you back up the device before leaving it to be diagnosed. IREPAIRIT is not responsible for any data loss/ non-working devices after a diagnostic is performed in the presence of liquid damage.

You understand that the goal of a liquid cleaning service is to get the motherboard of the device in an operable condition. This service does not include non-integrated parts such as physical buttons, batteries, Wi-Fi cards/cables, or any other components that are not built into the motherboard itself.

You understand that if the liquid damage motherboard cleaning service resolves all device issues, then customer will be responsible for the liquid damage motherboard cleaning fee stated on the work order.

You understand that if additional non-integrated components are needed to fix the device, you will be contacted with a detailed price quote. If you elects to proceed with the replacement of non-integrated components, the liquid damage cleaning fee will be waved.

You understand that if the motherboard cleaning service does not restore full functionality to the motherboard of the device (meaning the phone cannot be fully repaired), there will be no charge for the motherboard cleaning service.

Computer Virus Removal, Operating System Reinstall, and Data Backup

You understand that during a virus repair or removal IREPAIRIT uses a multitude of software tools to remove any malware present in the device.

You understand that due to the nature of many viruses (which infect not only the Operating System, but also user files) IREPAIRIT CANNOT guarantee that 100% of your files will remain intact. There exists the possibility of having to delete documents, music, pictures, applications, and any other data that have become infected.

You understand that IREPAIRIT CANNOT guarantee malware removal through software alone. If it is the case that IREPAIRIT cannot safely remove the virus entirely, you will not be charged for the virus removal service, and IREPAIRIT will you about performing a reinstall of the operating system from a clean installation.

You understand that IREPAIRIT will not back up any user created file unless a “Computer back up service” is included.

You understand that if and Operating System Reinstall service is performed IREPAIRIT provides a factory installation with no additional software installed except for primary hardware drivers. Any Software, including Anti-Malware (free or paid-subscription), is subject to a software installation fee.

You understand that IREPAIRIT CANNOT install a different operating system than what is provided by the computer’s manufacturer, or provided by the Customer. Customer represents that customer has the legal right to use the operating system, and has agreed to the terms of the software license.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Information such as name and email address is collected for internal record keeping, service updates, requesting feedback, and provide you product information, promotional information, and updates to IREPAIRIT’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

In-Store Cameras

In-store cameras are used to assist in loss prevention and to protect the valuable internal and customer belongings while you are in the store.

Accessing Data on Customer Devices

As part of our required diagnostic testing, certain applications containing customer data (such as camera, dial pad and messaging applications), may need to be accessed to thoroughly test the device’s functionality. This process is essential to ensuring we have done our due diligence in repairing your device to the best of our ability. This information is never intentionally exposed in any way and will not be mishandled or sold to third party companies for any purpose. IREPAIRIT will never transfer or copy data on a customer’s device to any other equipment without customers express consent or unless the operation is required to complete the services requested by the customer.

Data Backup and Recovery Services

In the event of a repair, or any similar circumstances, that requires a device be restored to original settings IREPAIRIT will backup data to the best of our ability. If data becomes lost or corrupted during the repair process, though not responsible for the loss of data, IREPAIRIT employees will best try to direct affected customers to a reputable data recovery company.

Data Loss

Customer agrees that prior to IREPAIRIT servicing of any customer equipment, it is customer’s responsibility to: (1) backup all data, software, information, or other files stored on customer’s computer disk drives, phones, tablets, peripherals, MP3 player, DVD player, camcorder, digital camera or on any other electronic storage device; and (2) remove all videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film, or other media from customer’s product, as applicable. Except as expressly provided for herein, IREPAIRIT shall NOT be liable under any circumstances for any loss, disclosure, alteration, or corruption of any data, software, information, files, videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film, or other media.

Prices and Taxes

IREPAIRIT has the right to alter any prices listed on the website without notice. All prices listed on the website are not including sales tax.
